New Recipe- Using Cambridge FFL Potato Soup CHIPS Posted by MaryL on 9/21/2018, 1:51 pm Air Fryer Cambridge FFL Potato Soup CHIPS - You will need a small mixing bowl, a plastic spatula, a fork, parchment paper(no oil needed), paper plate and rolling pin. 2 small scoops of the Cambridge FFL Potato Soup dash garlic powder dash black pepper dash onion powder Dash of smoked paprika (optional) 1 tablespoon of egg white 1 to 3 tablespoons of cold water- only enough to make a stiff dough Using the fork mix all dry ingredients, add the egg white, add a small amount of water, just enough to make a stiff dough. Use the plastic spatula to scrape the dough onto a 7 X 7 or larger piece of parchment paper that is placed over a thin paper plate(I used Great Value). Place the second piece of parchment paper over the dough. Use the rolling pin to roll the dough until it is very thin. Place in your air fryer set at 8 minutes at 350 degrees. At 4 minutes check the dough. When dough begins to brown and become stiff remove the paper plate. You will need to flip the dough to brown the other side.Edges will be browned. Times may vary depending on your air fryer. Remove from the fryer. Allow to cool a couple of minutes. Cut into triangles with a pizza cutter. Serve as your lunch or dinner with 3 tablespoons of no sugar salsa. You could bake these in a conventional oven but I am unsure what the time and temperature would be.

Re: Day Four Posted by Mary L on 9/21/2018, 2:05 pm, in reply to "New Recipe- Using Cambridge FFL Potato Soup CHIPS" Last night I had a terrible craving and in a weak and tired moment AFTER WORK I CAVED AND HAD SOME SALT FREE TORTILLA CHIPS AND SALSA. It's Ok I am good today and not giving up. Today is a new day.It's Day 4-My need to crunch is satisfied. I enjoyed the above recipe for my lunch today. I used some sugar free salsa that I canned from my own garden tomatoes and onions. My salsa recipe uses tomatoes, onions, vinegar,green peppers,garlic but no sugar. I had a Tonalin Chocolate Truffle Shake for breakfast. Now I am good for the day. One more shake to go. The weekend will be a struggle but I am reminding myself I am miserable at this weight so will set goals to stay busy. Everyone have a good day.

The bottom paper plate makes a stiff base until the dough bakes to a consistency similar to bread.

I've been curious about the air fryers. My kitchen is TINY so I have to take that in to account when I buy any appliances. Do you find yourself using it often?

I spent 15 minutes writing a post only to have that boardhost post come up again (sigh) Parchment paper must be removed from the top before the dough goes into the air fryer. Our air fryer gets moved a lot because we have limited counter space too. I would like to get the airfryer oven which would replace the big toaster convection oven that my husband insisted we had to have on the counter. The airfryer is perfect for frozen foods, appetizers, French fries without oil. My husband has made chicken and pork roast in it.
