I been 100% SS and only lost 2 lbs. It seems I am losing slower. I don't know if I am not getting enough calories? When I was in college I lost rapidly this way. the First 4 weeks I lost 16 lbs. I have lost more than 2 lbs or around most weeks when I making the microwave cakes and somethings having egg beaters with veggies. Only exercise is 4 minute workout do to my hip arthritis. Need to lose another 21 lbs for the surgery. Seeing my surgeon in three and a half weeks.

Don't be fooled by the scale. Sometimes the scale is wrong. I have gained weight after 3 days of SS just because my body was holding on to fluid. In your case it might be water weight. I understand your frustration and your sense of urgency because you need to experience results NOW to have the surgery. In a British Documentary on YouTube:Two individuals who were journalists were willing to participate in the documentary researching quick weight loss diets. Both were under the care of a physician the whole time they were on their respective diets. One gal used the Master Cleanse with lemons, cayenne red pepper, and maple syrup, and Colon cleanses. The other gal using first kale soup, and then shakes & she saw her physician regularly, who noted no weight loss in weeks 2 and 3 and stated that the body was holding on to weight because it was sensing starvation in a natural defensive reaction. This weight came off in the next couple of weeks. She exercised very intensely daily. She went from a size 10 to a size 0.
I can't give you any real reassurances but sometimes drinking more water helps. Also maybe increase low impact exercise that won't hurt your hip, maybe by doing upper body arm exercises using small weights.
I will try my 5 lb weights. I already do the 4 minute work out and drink 100 oz of water. I don't think I can drink more than this. Each day gets worse with my hip. 21 more lbs to go until I can get surgery. Any more advice is appreciated.

The scale can be misleading. It doesn't tell the whole story. Calorie intake does not play a part when doing something like this as your body has a limitless supply of them (body fat) stored and ready to tap in to. This is ketosis. When your body stops running on sugar and starts using all the fat that's been stored. This is a big shift for your body and it will do the work to use the fat as long as you support it by having all your Cambridge servings and ideally, nothing else but non-caloric beverages. The one exception is if you are adding a healthy fat source to your Cambridge.
It is quit common for people to have some weeks where they lose slowly, but drop inches or sizes. The human body is complicated and rarely behaves as we would like, especially when losing weight. Fluid fluctuations play a big part. Fat cells also contain fluid and as the fat is released, the cell can temporarily fill with fluid. Eventually it will flush out. Be sure to stay hydrated.
Your body is using the stored fat from your liver and muscles and other organs as fuel and converting some of it in to ketons for your brain to run on. It absolutely HAS to when it is being denied an outside energy source of a standard diet, typically high in carbs and sugar. Converting over to fat fuel is a process, but one your body is designed to do. My advice is to stay off the scale. It won't make you lose any faster and will likely only cause stress and doubt. Trust the process. Support your body and let it do it's work. Weight loss is never linear. It is more zig zaggy then straight. Just work your Cambridge plan and let your body do its thing!
