Okay! So, I'm human Posted by YVONNE on 7/9/2019, 11:50 am I have been trying to "get back on track" since July 3rd and have been miserably failing to do so. I have 43 more pounds to lose and I am trying to get there. My mind is so messed up and not focused about what it is I am trying to achieve. Thank goodness I have this Board to let folks know that it is NOT easy, but it IS doable. I just need to get my MIND focused again. Syl?! Where are you Syl? There is the better part of the month still left and I can put a big chunk of this weight behind me, if I get back to my routine. So, I am trying again today and I will KEEP TRYING until I get to where I am going.

You'll get your focus back and resume losing. This is a twisty turney journey. But don't let it stress you out. It's a good learning opportunity. It's important that we pay attention to what our triggers are. What stressors override our better judgement. We all justify our decisions, but usually don't pay attention to the actual dialog in our head. Keep a justification journel and write them down. Then read them and ponder how ligitmate they are or not. It may be enough to bring you back from the edge.

All I need is one more degree to make it 212 degrees and then water becomes steam which can move locomotives. I think weighing myself was the downfall for me. I hadn't weighed myself for MONTHS and just kept to my routine of Cambridge, exercise and journaling. Well, I am going back to that and throwing out the scale (that is, until August 1st). Hang in there, Sonali. We can do this.
