HALLOWEEN? Posted by Yvonne on 11/2/2019, 1:19 pm Hi, folks: Everyone seems so down in the dumps. Cambridge has demonstrate that it puts corporate interests first above its customers. Once you know that, then we need to "PUSH THROUGH" with what we CAN control. And, that is our weight loss with Cambridge for the remaining two months. When God closes a door, HE opens a window. I believe that with all my heart because He has demonstrated his strength and love for all of us despite distastrous times. Halloween started great for me, but I folded with thinking about Trick or Treat, having to buy candy for the children, the parties for Halloween. I just wasn't strong enough and yesterday was another less-than-perfect day. However, today, started off better and I am a bit more focused. When I ate some of the chocolate candy that I was SUPPOSED to offer the children, that night I had such painful leg cramps, I couldn't get a good night's sleep! That'll teach me to each chocolate bars. Just keep going, people. Despite the odds and the adversity, there will be another day to strive and for hope.

We usually don't get many kids anyway and I had no desire to spend money on candy and then just throw it out. Andy and I have been 100% sugar and grain free for over 10 months now. I wouldn't have any problem not eating it, but I have a feeling he might and I was happy to agree with him not to participate this year. We left off the porch lights and continued on with some house projects that we are working on. We have a realtor coming by this afternoon to give us an idea of our property value. We have a lot of big decisions to make depending on what we are told. Yes..it has been a difficult time. Stressful too. First they tell us they are making more Rich Chocolate, then they are not. Then they say they are doing one last batch of Dutch Chocolate, but evidently it will only be enough to fill the backorders, so everyone else that has been waiting will not be able to get any. It's been so hard to keep getting people's hopes up, only to have to tell them it's not going to happen. I HATE how the company is handling this. While they sit up there untouched in their Dean Distributors corporate office, us distributors and Janet in the Monterrey office have to be the ones to handle this emotional devastating mess they dumped on us. It's been rough. I hope you got rid of the candy. Even chocolate isn't worth leg cramps! I hate those things! Glad you are back on track. I'm counting on you to reach your goal before Cambridge is in the history books. There is Thanksgiving and Christmas to wade through, but maybe this year will be different since this time we can't count on Cambridge being there to save us after the new year.

I, too, am hoping I “get there” before the clock stops on Cambridge. Today, I fit in a bomber jacket I had made just for me back in 1991. I could never fit it because my size was 24 and the jacket was size 12. But it was an aspirational piece of clothing. Today, it was close to freezing and I decided to try the jacket on and....IT FIT!!! Halloween has come and gone. Today, has been a good day. If I try to deviate from sole-source, experiencing those leg cramps helps me think otherwise. Hang in there!

Praise, Cambridge. I am doing so well, that my trainer asked me about Cambridge!! Go figure! I told them they would be closing shop on December 31st. He asked for some information and I, in turn, gave him the information sheet.
