thought i reply to u as i'm german too :-) i know what it feels like to live in a flat where the bathromm is really central, it's horrible, u can hear everything that happens in the flat and u know everyone can hear u too. :-( i even find parties (like x-mas or birthdays) hard to bear if 10 or so people are in the same room and the bathroom is right next to it..i really cannot enjoy these events at all cause i am just too tense. take care and all the best of luck with your therapy, i don't know what kind of therapy you're doing but let me know if it works!! take care, Emily
what i have found is that there is no word or condition for parcopresis in german..which makes it even harder to explain to anyone if u wanted to.
the problem just doesn't seem to exist in germany. so i think if i ever told another german (a doctor for example) they would just look at me strangely and suggest psychotherapy. as if this problem means there is something wrong with your head..
the next flat i will rent will have to have a nice bathromm, around three corners and far away from the main living area :-)
ah well, don't wanna bore u too much :-)
