i was told to try something. I was told to exercise my nerves in a less stressful way. when in a situation where you would normally freak if you had to poo, even if you dont actually have to go, excuse yourself for a while and go to another room, or the hall, or a bathroom. This way, you become more comfortable with admitting the fact, without actually having the cramping or anxiety when you do have to go. This way, when the time actually comes in that scary situation and you have to poop, you'll be used to disappearing for a few minutes. and if its other peoples thoughts about "oh she/he just went poop"...by leaving and not actually going, you prove those thoughts wrong because you didnt go. This undermines the control others thoughts have over you, and gives you back control. Also, if you have a spouse or family or close friends that you are nervous about..this also works. When you are on the phone with them, leave by saying.."i have to use the bathroom, i'll call you back in a few minutes or so" even if you arent really leaving for that. also, you should make a deal with an understanding spouse or friend, to tell each other when you have to poop. not just you telling them, they have to tell you too, which gives you comfort knowing u arent alone!!
well im going to try this, and i have confidence it will help so i hope this advice helps others!!!
