I know my question/subject line may seem a bit convoluted, but I wasn't sure how to better phase this. Let's say in an emergency or serious situation, I have absolutely nowhere safe to go #2 other than a hotel room where I know I won't be interrupted. Would you guys think it's possible for me to pay the walk-up rate of the room, do my thing, be back at the desk in about 30 minutes and ask for a refund, explaining that my plans had changed, and offering the hotel employee to check the room and make sure it was completely unused and clean? What would my chances be of getting a full refund of the room?
Thanks! I would appreciate it. US based, if that helps.
