My nine year old son has been struggling since he began school. We have always noticed a difference in him. He repeated first grade. This school year has been a nightmare. He is only reading on a fist grade level. Although he continues to fall behind each day, the school said he doesn't have a LD(tested in Feb). He doesn't qualify for learning support-yet. Our school doesn't seem to be any help. We've been waiting ten weeks to get a wraparound. We are now starting to notice his low self-esteem, and other behavioral issues. I am overwhelmed with on-line search. Where do we begin? What kind of doctors should we see?
