The best way to get heop for your child is to have independent testing done on him or her. Don't just rely on the testing your school has done; they just aren't objective enough. It's expensive to have independent testing done; but it's worth the cost to have HONEST testing and data on your child. This was the route I took in dealing with my school district; and I was able to get a private school placement, at the scool district's expense. What a difference it has made in my child. When he started in the private school, he was a shy, quiet little boy. He has become an independent young man.
