A hard question to answer really. I have got most of my fish on a high incoming tide but I think it depends where you are. If I was fishing along Whirinaki it would on the incoming tide, 2 hrs each (well for me).
But if I was fishing somewhere like Pourere beach as per the pics in another posting then it would depend on where. I would fish low tide in the middle of the beach which is a real surf beach and try and cast into deeper water and as the tide came in fish round the river mouth, rocks or the boat channel further down which are more high tide spots in my book. There are no right answers with fishing at times.
