Castle point off the rocks used to be good, it has since got pretty average. You can expect, red cod, kahawai, sharks, a few kings, the odd snapper and moki and other bits and pieces.

The beach to the north is not bad, a few gurnard here and there as well as smooth hounds and kahawai.
