the front ledge is pretty much gone as the track/path is pretty bad, the beach is pretty good for gurnye's and rig on the right tide(2-3 hours either side of low), kings do show up in the lower part of the reef- catch live baits in the lagoon. Does produce a few odd balls out there- found best to fish close to the reef dont cast to far,watch the water as rough waves, seen snapper,trevs,ky,kings gurnard,even salmon caught off there - very good place for salt water fly fishing chasing ky alot of berly - use a smelt pattern or a large blue/purple deceiver.-If using a lot of fish berly watch for sharks - good fun but dangerous to land
