Depends on your rod/reel/line-weight etc as well.
Are you asking about competition casting, or actual fishing?
If you can do 80m with a bait on you're doing better than most people you will see at the beach.
I use a pair of 222's with overhead reels and 10kg line. I've not measured my cast but I reckon I'm getting maybe 50-70m on a good cast with a pulley rig and half a pilchard.
