A couple of years ago I tried out a longcast rig with a soft plastic bait instead of a real bait ( just so I didnt have a few pillys hanging around all day ) at a casting day. 185. something meters but I was using a fairly stiff casting rod.


With my normal fishing set ups @ 120 m is about it unless its a tiny bait.
