North of wairoa

Hi heading north of wairoa today for an overnight fish dont have a 4x4. wheres the best spot to try. Hope someone has some pointers fished whakaki last friday from 8 pm til 8am only one snap and big lemon. hope to hook a few more tonight. Has anyone tried slide baiting for the kings up that way.
