One thing I forgot to mention, the rod's butt is slimline, therefore I believe it reasonable to assume it is modelled on the early, UK 'reverse taper' design rods made famous by Leslie Moncreif. Once the angler becomes accustomed to a slimmer butt, the amount of whip, or load, that can be brought into play is very substantial.
I did not handle the 'Bait and 6' so I cannot comment if this ability is also built in to the heavier model.
