I have a 2001 Pathfinder (NZ new) which does still have the low ratio on demand 4x4 - same version as the circa 1999 model. It's a petrol version, so is pretty thirsty... I'd struggle to get 600km on a tank, however this is short distance running so will likely be better on a long run. Nice trucks though
