No wind (well not a lot) at Whirinaki, flat calm, clean but fishless.
I had one hookup which I only noticed because the line went slack. Heavy fish but no real fight came in most of the way and then gone.
Left me with a chewed off 60lb Black Magic Flurocarbon trace

I thought it might have been a big eel but the trace shows no signs of abrasion, it just looks like its been bashed through with a pair of hammers
