I got the breed wrong lol had realised that it was an eagle ray after i posted the thread after looking up on google and was going to edit before i could be corrected lol. It gave me a good scrap the fin-nor didn't even run out of grunt like my old 12 foot abu javelin would have done plus with the penn 850ssm mounted on it the whole rig just did the business with no hesitation it is funny how I have a shimano aerlex sitting on the shelf and I seem to keep reaching for the penn I think the wife has inherited the shimano somehow, I just need to get another fin-nor surf rod to mount it to.
