Not till I get a decent 7-8 foot 10-15kg rod hate fishing off rocks and wharves with 12 and 14 foot rods, got a couple of rods in mind as I want to start flicking stick baits and poppers to try and land my first kingi have hooked them before on jack mackeral baits but always been busted off or spooled(while using inferior reels) due to not being prepared properly for catching them. Now that I have two very good quality reels I am almost there for a dedicated kingfish rig without a doubt I would be reaching for the penn 850 as my go to reel.
