How do you keep your bait frozen or close too frozen on the beach? Have bought a bag(12) of small salmon to try but do not want the unused ones to thaw out and turn to mush. Heard that wrapping them in newspaper in a chilly bag with some ice or slicker pads slows the defrosting process down a bit.I usually use salted mullet no freezing required and it lasts for several weeks.
