Frostie, I have been using Pflueger Salt 80s for two years with no problems. They have an excellent drag, decent casting spool which loads perfectly, hamdle braid ok, seem trouble proof. I have had some big fish on these reels and they havn't let me down. Yes I do sell them for a living along with many others but they have been a stand out on the beach.
I am not sure which Penn Phill is refering to but probably the NEW Penn Conflict which is similar. We sell those too.
