Worst season for ages for me due to crap weather when I had a chance to get out and being crook a lot of the summer and just not having the energy or determination to really chase the fish. Hence not too much fishing time. Cracked one goal I set myself and that was a kahawai over 3kgs. A few lemons, mainly small, a bunch of small kahawai and that was about it. I did better on trout that can be caught when the weather is against us. I echo the sentiments about the gurnard. dissapearance. Maybe next season!
