I have sat back and waited to see what sort of feedback you would get to your post Phill and it is disappointing that the feedback is effectively nil. I have been under the impression for a few years now, that there are quite a number of casters out there who wanted something a bit more professional than is currently available. There has also been talk of casters wanting something that produced true Champion Casters, not just the best of who turned up on the day. I believe to produce true Champion Casters, you need a competition that requires some sort of qualification to enter such as minimum distances or pre Championship elimination rounds. Whatever competitive casters want, they will not get it unless they speak up or, alternatively, create a Championship that meets their needs. A good example of a casting championship that identifies the country's top casters is the UKSF (Google it), it would be very easy to take what they have created and run the same type of Championship here in NZ.
