Rex didn't mention the dunes Gary :D I did and no it did not involve girls was far too young for that sort of carry on. As kids we used to make up boards out of ply wood and make the underside slippery by polishing them up till they were shiny then we would ride them down the steep sand dunes (opposite kirpatrick place in papamoa)was lots of fun especially if the boards did not stop and you ended up in the lupins at the bottom :D
