Don’t live on here as much as I use to. But still pop in from time to time. I’m Naki Aka Logan Willemen I am a construction Manager in the Oil and Gas sector, working around NZ.

Originally from Whangarei I have been fishing off and on for 25years Boat, Rocks and Beach and now reside in the wonderful TARANAKI I have meet a number of you and look forward to seeing some of you again soon. (Chad I want a 30kg Kingy this time lol.)
Although I don’t belong to a club/clubs yet, I have small ties to most and enjoy talks with them given my current situation and things to come joining a club has been placed on hold.

I love all things fishing and at least once a week you’ll find me on the beach with a 6 pack of beer a couple of rods and two glow stick twitching backwards and forwards. I also own a boat and get out in that with the family when the weather allows.
I have developed an extensive fishing calendar for the taranaki region, that after 6 long years it, it is finally showing signs of becoming accurate.
I also have a NZ wide moon calendar that a lot of you have had input into that has been put on hold for the last we while but hope to get back into it during the winter when things slow down.
This year I’ve managed to complete a couple of goals by getting the wife and kids hooked up on kingfish and tuna off the back of the boat and of cause having the calendar starting to perform, 2015 has been a long time coming.
This site has a wealth of knowledge in it and the guys who post on it.

I respect your views on most things Hangler and always have a good laugh reading your rants and love the ideas and informative posts you do but honestly mate sometimes you need to pull your head in.
We all understand you like winding certain guys up and that maybe some history but let’s keep it as that, history.
