I have not dry cast the LR in competition but I did cast the previous model 203 m with a 100g casting weight .28 line and a 15-40 lb tapered leader the reel was an old Tica Dolphin.
The LR should cast as far as it is a little stiffer in the middle and bottom section. The main advantage of Lowrider guides is the reliability in windy conditions you can not get a guide wrap.
