Thanks for the thoughts there are definitely a couple of different options to think about.
- The more comfortable SUV for getting there (like the Kia or it's Hyundai twin) that may find the beach quite tricky and
- The more dedicated fishing vehicle that is at home on the beach and the tracks getting there. However it might be a few years older and having a few more KM's on the clock with not as great "cross over" appeal and wife friendliness.
The info on car recovery was also very helpful. There is no point getting on the beach unless you have a good plan to be able to get off it..
