Edited by racepics on 4/9/2016, 9:57 am BOP can be like that, I've driven there twice from Napier and caught nothing both times. Apparently it can be totally on fire in one area and dead as everywhere else.
I think when I venture there again I would pack up and move along the beach if nothing was happening.
