Want to replace my old but mint Penn Jigmaster 500 factory left hand wind with a left hand overhead more suited to distance casting.
Thought of getting the 500's bushes fitted with ball races but the cost is prohibitive and the reel was never designed for distance.
What do yous think of the Shimano Torium 20 & 30 size reels?? (available in LH wind)
I have sausage fingers and prefer a reasonably big reel.
Had a Penn Squidder LH wind that could cast for miles but some prick stole it in 1997 and I could never find another mint one to replace it.
I'm strongly right handed but have always wound left handed and that won't change.
Any ideas for reels under $400 tops
