    I don't know what Gannet's cherry tree is up to... but mine has FINALLY (YAY!) decided now's the right time for snapper.
    By the time I get back on Sunday all the blossoms will be out.They're unwinding as we speak.

    All my guff is sitting in the shed waiting for it's very first spring outing tomorrow... new nylon, leaders,traces, reels lubed and ready.
    I've observed the antics/frustrations of the other boardies as they try to drag pinkies in right up till now.
    I reckon it's only around now that we should be seriously starting to hunt pinks.
    This is only my opinion mixed with a bit of experience tho.
    I've spent exactly two months today waiting for this.... I haven't fished since July 7th up the Coromandel.
    Have I got the date right? Yeah!
    Will I get the bite right? Yeah!
    Tides are good, BOP water's small and clean.
    So I'm off fishing tomorrow.
    Watch this space.

    Another test for the secret recipe must be on the cards this weekend?
    I'm leaving mine till next field day. I want to catch fish the hard way this time.
