Just talked to a customer today, and told me him and a mate, longlined in a 14kg Clydsedale and a bunch of carrots last weekend at Westshore beach, so theres one or two around, but still dammed slow. Reports of Kahawai schooling off of clifton is encouraging too. Weve just recieved the best dump of snow on the HB ranges this year 2 days ago, so shes still cold air and water temps, but ill be out there wetting a line somewhere, waiting for that big old Snapper to suck my bait in.
