I spent friday night an the good part of ssaturday over at palliser, started at ocean beach 2 of us fishing, it total 20+ red cod nasty things an 3 kaiwai which my mate got - 2 of which hooked on the same line then nothing else for hours also a conger eel no gurnard either, what is ya preferd bait for the gurnard?i havent had much luck with them in the past anywhere apart from the spit ova those ways? Also have ya heard of any snaps or kingis caught from ngawi area i went for a drive there for the first time and there looked to be some deep fishy areas.
