I have wanted to give it a go for years but never got around to it. Got two sons, 4 and 1 years old and I want to learn ASAP as my eldest is already showing a massive interest and its a great Kiwi way to spend quality time with them. (Im a Pom by the way) I fancy trying surf casting as i dont have access to a boat and I would welcome any advice, locations to fish or an invite to join someone for the experience would be great. Im reading that Raglan is not the best which is a shame as its my local beach and that Ruapuke is dangerous for the novice, is this correct? Cheers all, Steve.
