This could be a great way to get the kids, and yourself started as it is easy, safe, inexpensive, and close to home. There are heaps of fish in the river and they seem to be easy to catch. that way you will learn how to handle a fish on the line etc, and get some buzz from watching the fish follow your spinner in and grab it last minute!
