    Nothing wrong with the tica gear guys. They are mainly plastic and tend to not last as long as other reels if they are not looked after, but as long as you are good with gear, they will treat you well.

    I have more reels than rods really, from shimano and daiwa mainly, purely because they are robust and don't require allot of care. I am very rough with gear and never clean them.

    I rate any of the daiwa gear

    These are great reels, slow retrieve, but a fantastic reel that lasts. Caught a 24 and 17lb snapper on this reel this year
