You would find, just by changing your reels over to long cast and dropping your line weight, it is possible to get another 30 metres with your cast. My jarvis walker rod was a great favorite of mine many years ago. I ended up giving it to a young angler at the time who didn't have a rod. But with a decent reel on it, that rod was hitting out over 160m dry casting. Take a look at my gear (Rods) and I will see if I can sort ya out something.
