Is that really all I came here to say? I guess it was. I mean, nothing happened between now and my last post four hours ago.
Nothing on tv. So I've had it off most of the day. Been playing some Grand Theft Auto 5 today. I don't really like it but I'm 70% done and I'm going to try to finish it. It's REALLY REALLY easy because not only can you immediately reply the mission if you die, it has numerous checkpoints within the mission that they'll start you off at if you die. A dedicated chimp could beat the game.
That's the way of things, though. In my day, beating a game was the exception. If you saw a game's ending, it was usually a real accomplishment and the result of many, many hours of grueling play, honing your skills. Nowadays, games are cinematic in nature. You just sit back and the game more or less plays itself.
I've only had one part in GTA5 thus far that made me ragequit for a few days. It was a mission where you blow up some building and then you have to escape the burning building while some guys shoot at you. I couldn't do it. But then I just restarted the mission but with the highest bulletproof armour that's available. I easily got through that time.
So not a challenge at all. And I've completed almost all of the missions without any armour.
