I was watching some Youtube clips. There's one where he responds to a challenge to make jokes about Muslims (as he's made jokes about Christians). Seems sensible.
Of course, he doesn't make any jokes about Muslims. But why not? Because he knows he'd be beheaded. He doesn't say this, though. He's very reverent to the Mohammadans.
Working class British people don't like Muslims. Whether this is a "good" thing or not is irrelevant (though, I say it's good). It's just a fact. So to get on stage and tell the audience that working class British people are idiots because they don't like Muslims is obviously insulting.
You don't like people who think and act and dress like they just got out of a time machine from the 13th century? You're an unsophisticated, reactionary fascist.
Immigration. Another issue that working class people have strong opinions on and are therefore sneered at by the liberal fascists like you and Stewart Lee. It's true that immigrants take low-skill jobs and drive down wages. Those most affected by this are the working class but it has a knock on effect that drives down wages for everybody. It's therefore unsophisticated to oppose this?
I saw an older working class woman on the news being interviewed by Jon Snow (70 year old newsreader married to a 30 year old African woman). She's asked the old "Would British people do farm labourer jobs" question. She said that they would and quite rightly pointed out that all the farm labourers used to be British. Pervert Jon Snow's feeble response to that was "How many years ago was that?"
That's kind of the point, you creepy old man. Immigrants have been doing this job for so long, driving the wages down to slave territory that of course British people aren't going to do that work. But make it a respectable job again that pays a living wage and they'd gladly do it.
"Oh, the working class people of Darlington support the EDL. What a bunch of unsophisticated dullards." That's not exactly a challenging position to take. One sees Stewart Lee-esque comedians all the time mocking EDL supporters. "Look at this guy. He can't even articulate why he doesn't like Muslims. The English school system failed him. Isn't that a riot?"
It makes sense for Stewart Lee to mock the working class. He's squirreled some money away and can afford a nice place to live away from these Muslims, black people, and general foreigners. Few foreigners are coming here to become BAFTA award winning comedians.
But for you to ape this world view, as espoused by the likes of the Guardian, Channel 4 News, and Stewart Lee is acting against your own economic interests. It's the proverbial turkey voting for Christmas. There's a perfectly sensible and rational reason why the working class people of Britain support the likes of the EDL and want Muslims out and a sensible immigration policy.
