And you know what, I think that I pretty much made the most of it. I met a lot of women, went to all the cultural shit, you know. Saw the sights.
And I worked a bunch of jobs. Lived in a few different parts of the city.
So yeah, I think it's been as much a success as I could have made it. Got an easy job out of it. Made a friend. Yeah, I'm happy with that. And ten years in this shit hole is probably way longer than the average person can endure.
Hopefully can get some awkward coffees with the unattractive ladies of Glasgow. And see how the job goes. Saving so much money there. Maybe get a car. Learn to drive a stick shift. This would be a big achievement. Figure out what these people are saying. Be able to put "Scots" on my resume under "languages". That would be huge.
I mean, yeah in the UK that might be laughed off. But in the US they don't know any better. And being able to decipher what these people are saying would indeed be a big accomplishment.
So stuff to look forward to. And if it doesn't work out, there's always Finland which also presents awesome opportunities.
