I wasn't just imagining things with this Mohammadan. She asked what I had planned for after work. She also offered me (and nobody else around the table) a glass of water. If she was a slimmer religious fanatic I might have pursued things. But it's still weird.

But yeah, I finished that job at like 10.30 so I was off to Glasgow's world famous Buchannan Street. It's the main shopping centre. Somebody on Yelp actually said that it was better than Oxford Street in London. When I told this to my friend when she was over to visit, she couldn't believe it. "Oxford Street is much bigger with nicer, more upscale shops." That's true but on the downside, it's in London.

Anyway, they're doing some Christmas stall thing there. Bunch of outdoor stalls selling crap. I was intrigued by the fudge stall so stopped over today.

I bought six pieces of fudge (two bubble gum flavour, one Jack Daniels, and one that I can't remember but I think it's non-alcoholic) and it cost £9.50. The vendor was the Glasgow equivelent of a Cockney street seller. Poorly-educated, uncomfortable "banter", "roll up, roll up" crap, et cetera. So I'm thinking that he overcharged me because I was wearing my suit.

I mean, does it really cost that much for six pieces of fudge? £1.59 for a piece of fudge? I tried to look at fudge prices online and yeah, it does seem expensive but it's hard to figure out how much they're selling. I mean by weight. I don't know. Maybe it's the normal selling price. But I probably won't be buying fudge again.

So yeah, pinning a date down with this Tinder woman. Think she lives nearby. The plan is to go to a pub. Great.

What else? Maybe that was it. Ooh, no. I'm not working tomorrow. I asked for the day off because it's Thanksgiving. I'm going to have an appropriate feast and see if I can watch the traditional Mystery Science Theatre 3000 marathon online.

Wonder what turkey options there are in the local takeaways. Can you search by keyword? Yeah. This is disappointing. Four places have turkey as a pizza topping and there's a place offering turkey daal, whatever that is. It's in the vegetarian section too. Maybe it refers to the country.

Would my old London address have been better? No. More places but just as pizza toppings again.

I guess chicken can be a substitue. I'll go with Chicken Choice. Oh no, I ordered from here before. They had mushrooms in their munchy box even though the one I ordered didn't have mushrooms. Well, there are loads of other chicken places.
