I remember Mike Sharpe. The Canada's Greatest Athlete bit was amusing. And he had the taped up forearm for years.
He was used as a jobber in the WWF. This wasn't always the case, though. He was an accomplished wrestler in Mid-South. I didn't know this at the time, of course.
I also remember him mentioning his father and uncle being great wrestlers. I thought that this was fake. I thought that the WWF was the only game in town. But no. His father and uncle really did achieve a lot in wrestling.
Here's a match with the late Ultimate Warrior. Warrior botches his finisher really badly and has to try again.
