Also, I'm doing this in...30 minutes? Probably less than that, actually. I used to work out like three hours a day. But yeah, the recommended workout time is like an hour at the most.
They also tell you to take days off. Like every other day, in fact. Seems crazy to me. I take a day off if I'm tired or busy or just don't feel like it but this is like once a week. That whole "your muscless need to relax to rebuild" is nonsense. At least in the sense of your muscles are relaxing while you're watching Deal or No Deal. They only relax when you're asleep.
I'm doing something right because there's definitely gains. I should have taken a before photo. If this trend continues, a year from now I'll be the size of Lou Ferrigno circa 1974.
I think with your overweight or even average-sized guys, you don't see much of a change at first because the muscle has to work through all the fat. But since I'm naturally slim you see the big sexy muscles straight away.
Going to have to buy more weights. Four 5kg plates should do it. I'm going to wait until I move, though. It's one less thing to move. I'm looking for flats. My lease ends in early March so this will be sweet to get out of this ####ing dump. It will probably be another dump but can it be worse? This is by far the shittiest place I've ever lived with the shittiest landlord and the shittiest agency. Surely, the next place has to be better.
