And I'm of the school of thought that if you're busy, you're not for me. Maybe you're busy because you're not so interested in me. Maybe you're genuinely really busy. But in either case, I don't want to bother. Because I'm not busy. And I want to find somebody who has similar time on their hands. Maybe not to my crazy degree (because that would suggest somebody who's unemployed) but somebody who at least has a couple of hours on a weekend free.
So I suggested we can do something next week and she agreed. Sent a smiley face which is always a good sign. But...I don't know if I'm going to bother.
I mean...we're talking about Burma here. I've gone my entire life without knowing that a country called Burma even exists. I've heard the word, of course, but ask me last week what country borders Thailand and Bangladesh and I'd have absolutely no idea.
In other news, made this chicken noodle soup today. Another bland entry for my refigerator. At least it was easy to make and didn't cause my fingers and tongue to swell.
It's not a bad idea, though. If I can just get a decent recipe, it would be good to just make a big pot of something and can then reheat a portion a day for a few days. Sweet. Could even freeze stuff if I go really nuts.
Is there additional news? There was because I didn't plan on talking about this Asian woman or soup. But now I forgot. Haven't pooped in a while so it's not that.
Watching this Mongrels. It was a short-lived puppet show. Really bad. I don't know. I just find it unwatchable. Ridiculously gay and/or British. I get the jokes. Springwatch. That gentle show where they watch birds and whatnot. But it's not funny. It's hard to even listen to this crap. The homosexual voices. And the unfunny crudeness. Just awful.
You know what was hot, though, the hippo character in Meet the Feebles who had a topless scene. Meet the Feebles was another puppet thing that made me uncomfortable. It's intentional, same as Mongrels. It's supposed to be unpleasant. But...why watch it then?
It's not that I have anything against puppets. I liked The Muppet Show. I even liked the critically-panned Muppets Tonight. I haven't watched Seasame Street since I was four but from clips I've seen online, it looks pretty good. Surprisingly clever.
Oh. What was that shit? Labyrinth. Yeah, that was terrible.
But I enjoyed Dinosaurs. That puppet dragon in The Neverending Story...on the fence about that. It's mostly uncomfortable, actually.
I don't know. There are some puppets that I don't like. Others, I do like. I can't explain why.
