Also, in case the pun is lost, in the US there are (apparently) jobs called "teacher's aides". I've never seen such a person, though. It's like classroom assistants in the UK. I don't know how widespread that job is either but I did it for a couple of days.
Things are so boring without BBC3. I don't even watch tv any more in the evenings. What are other people watching? QI? The Last Leg? Three hours of NCIS? I mean...I won't even watch any of that shit as background noise. I prefer just having the tv off.
Hold everything. What a coup. ITV apparently bought the rights to Family Guy. It will be on ITV2 tonight at 11.00. Ooh, American Dad too. So they just bought the stuff that BBC3 used to show. Maybe they show them ad nauseum like BBC3 used to. Hopefully, they don't show Meet the Fockers ad nauseum.
Still, it doesn't start until 11.00. And I'm tired already at 9.30. It's this 12 hour sleep marathon crap that I've been doing that's messed things up. I'll get back into the groove before long but still.
Let's check Twitter out. Hey, a match from another 6'1" woman. She's 22 but not so attractive. It's tough to be attractive at that height. This 30 year old isn't exactly Dinah Shore either.
But also a match from an American. Obviously not somebody using the site for its intended purpose, though. She's 23 and actually in America. I guess she recently moved back there from Edinburgh. She also notes that she's coming back in August and applying for a working holiday visa for Ireland. Wants to know if anyone knows of a pub who will hire an American.
So clearly, she's just trying to network for jobs. But let's see where she is. 3461 miles away...that would be...using the buggy tool here...

Probably Pittsburgh. It runs right through there. Or possibly a suburb of Cleveland or Detroit. I suppose I can respect that. I expected her to be from California or New York.
Pittsburgh...to be honest, I don't know anything about it. It's in Pennsylvania. Think it's a working class city. Sort of in the Midwest but not really. That's it.
Anyway, I can appreciate her wanting to live in the UK. Or at least get out of Pittsburgh. Or the US generally. But Tinder isn't the medium for that.
I mean, Tinder is for dating. Or, allegedly, for "hookups". What it isn't for is for messaging guys who you wouldn't go out on a date with for advice on finding work. I mean...my profile doesn't mention anything about running an employment service.
She has no hope anyway. You have to marry somebody who's a member of an EU country. And even that now has the problem of your spouse having to make over £18,000/year or whatever that shit is.
If it was easy to move to the UK, every American would be doing it. Well, many of them, anyway. But it isn't.
Same with Canada. Clueless idiots talk about how they're going to move to Canada. Like you can just rock up to Toronto, say, "Hey, I speak English. Let me in." and they'll let you stay. No, it doesn't work like that. They have quite strict immigration laws. You have to meet a tough point system.
More or less, without a job offer or a husband with the relevant citizenship, forget about the UK. Or Canada. Or Australia. Or just about everywhere on earth.
But there's always teaching English in Asia. Yeah, it's a bad job but you don't have to do it forever. And maybe you'll meet somebody there. You can figure stuff out as you go along.
I'm not sure if Asia would appeal to women as much as it would men. The appeal for men in the easy availability of submissive women. But Western women aren't usually interested in Asian men. So I don't know.
What I do know is that I moved. But unless you were born to the right parents, you're not getting into the UK. That's the unfortunate reality.
I mean, how much better of a country would this be if we kicked out the blacks, Jews, and Muslims and replaced them with white Americans? Hell, I'd even like some English-speaking Mexicans in here. It would be great. They'd be foreigners but not the kind of foreginers who are violent, money-grubbing, rapists. Good foreigners, in other words.
But that's not the world we live in. The UK would rather have blacks, Muslims, and Jews than white Americans. Write your MP if you want the laws changed.
