So I went to a Middle Eastern shop this afternoon to pick up some lunch items. Not much there. Some weird fruits and vegetables, lots of canned food that may well be dog food, and some bland-looking biscuits. I got some salami, some weird juice, Haribo candy that I hadn't seen before, and the only loaf of bread in the store.

I get to the counter. The guy behind the counter is talking on the phone in Arabic or whatever. He doesn't look at me. Just keeps talking.

Three minutes go by. Still waiting. Then his wife comes to the tills with a female Mohammadan customer. The wife looks at me waiting there but still starts ringing up this female customer. I say, "okay" and leave.

And this from a store which on their website (full of English errors, by the way) they boast of having been a part of Glasgow for 30 years. After 30 years, these people haven't assimilated and still treat the natives (there's no reason he wouldn't assume that I'm Scottish) with complete contempt.

It illustrates what members of the relgion of peace think of infidels. Mark Twain commented on this 130 years ago.

It hurts my vanity to see these pagans refuse to eat of food that has been cooked for us; or to eat from a dish we have eaten from; or to drink from a goatskin which we have polluted with our Christian lips, except by filtering the water through a rag which they put over the mouth of it or through a sponge!
