He let us in for half price, and I remember thinking what a good bloke he was. Although perhaps the people he actually knew and liked got in for free.
And i've probably missed the obvious there. He let Fran in for free, charged me full price, and said he'd let us both half price for reasons of diplomacy.
At least, this is what I imagine. Could be true, could be false.
