This day care centre is still active, I think, but in a new location. It's old location is apparently a Masonic temple now.
This restaurant is still going. Wow. Open 24 hours? That's shocking. I was there a couple of times. Has some mildly amusing negative reviews on Google.
Not sure if this bank is still open. I mean, they don't have a website. None of these banks did, actually. How can a bank not have a website? These are weird, small banks but still. Get a Facebook page at least.
I'm going to assume that this hair salon is still open because it has a Google review from three years ago. If it's lasted this long, another three years isn't much.
This dairy farm is still going. Weird that a dairy farm is advertising. I have no idea that there even were dairy farms in the area. Although, this is kind of out there. The dairy farm has a website, by the way, which is more than can be said for 90% of these businesses.
This used furniture company is gone.
Aquatic resource center? Aquatic awareness through education, science, and access? Tell me more. Well, nothing. Presumably no longer open. No idea what this place was.
This jewelry store is still open. It's Mexicans running it. On their Facebook page, they're selling kindergarden graduation rings.
This requires a new paragraph. In the US, there are these things called "graduation rings". You buy them in the final year of high school. I don't know when you stop wearing them. At some point it starts getting embarassing.
Their popularity, at least when I was in school, was definitely waning but they used to be a big deal in like the 1950s when graduating from high school was perhaps a bit more rare. You see in movies and tv and whatnot the star football player giving his graduation ring to his cheerleader girlfriend.
But this is a KINDERGARDEN graduation ring. First of all, what five year old is wearing jewelry? Is it even for the child or is it for the parent? And how pathetic an achievement is graduating from kindergarden anyway? I think just about everybody does it.
This flower shop doesn't seem to exist anymore but there's another flower shop two doors over so maybe they just moved and changed names.
These caterers don't seem to exist any more.
This hardware store is closed. I went there once to get something notarised. It was a really weird place. I see a picture online and it seems that they started selling clothes at one point. Who goes to the hardware store to buy the latest fashion? Google Maps doesn't help. I can't even recognise where I'm at. The stores have all changed.
Oh. I think I found the building but there's just a bunch of posters on it welcoming you to the city. And I see this elsewhere on this street too. I guess they plaster unoccuppied buildings with these posters.
Apparently, this hardware store is now a pizza place that has arcade shit in it but according to Google Maps Street View, it's this empty building. Maybe these are old images because there are recent reviews of this pizarria. But also weird is this pizzaria claims to be established in 1976. Maybe they were in a different location but that's misleading if not outright fraudulent.
Huh. This Walgreens is now a place called Deal$.
Moving on. This bicyle shop is long gone. I never even heard of it. It's a fireworks shop now. There's a business that I don't think exists in the UK.
This restaurant doesn't seem to exist any more and the owner died three years ago.
Amazingly, this printing shop still exists but it's in a different location. They also seem to sell cheap, skanky dresses.
This independent gas station closed in 2007. Seems it was opened in the 1930s.
There's like 12 more pages of this shit but I have to take a break. It's depressing. No, wait. There's only four more pages of business ads. I can do this.
This chain hardware store may or may not still be open. But who cares?
The local paint shop is closed.
This chain mechanic/painting company ceased operation in 2010.
No sign of this aluminum siding and window company but one guy has the same surname as a barber. That barber was an old man and surely no longer with us.
This hamburger place is still going.
No sign of this hair salon.
According to Yelp, this...I don't know...Masonic organisation is closed. But there's a Google review from 8 months ago and a semi-active Facebook page. I have no idea why these organisations exist or what they do. I don't think it's anything sinister. I assume it's just old men looking for something to do.
This chiropractic clinic no longer exists but the chiropracter is still practicing in a different location. She offers massages too. Some sensual 50 year old lady massages.
This insurance company may or may not still be operating. I don't care.
This pizzaria closed in 2008.
This weird grocery store is still around.
The dance studio is still operating.
Video store is long gone. They didn't even make it to the DVD era.
This peculiar banquets facility is still in business.
The hospital is open.
The grocery store is still open.
And that's it! But one more question. How dyou feel about the OJ Simpson verdict? 85% say he's guilty. 10% say innocent. 5% not sure. Riveting!
Then there's more ads but it's shit that parents take out. Some have embarassing baby pictures of their children. Weird.
Here's a classmate who now has five kids. It's a woman. She was a total ####.
A lot of inspriational messages that these parents write for their kids. "We know you will succeed in your goals." Sadly, her name is crazy common so I'll never find out if she did achieve her goals.
