Its important though, you're bang on, about being judged by recent consumer purchases. Not being ironic, we're all guilty.
In fact, I just recently got my cold weather hoard in for this year. Note as well I bought a pair of shorts, as expecting a trip to a foreign land with my beau sooner rather than later.
Oh, here's some quality advice - if you HAVE TO buy clothes etc online, rather than trying them out down the mall-stores, try sticking to UK or even EU-only seller. I bought the urban cammo jacket (which I loved the look of) and it was a ladies size.
I will still try to fit into it though, as wont waste money even unwittingly.
