It's presumably some "oh, look at how authentically Italian we are" thing. But why would Italians want their pizza not to be cut?
I'll tell you what I'd be impressed with: party cut pizza. One of these so-called "American" pizzarias should do this. Think of the buzz. "You have to try this place. They cut their pizza into SQUARES! It's so exotic."
Also, the wedges were indeed not spicy and it's a small portion.
So overall, quite disappointing. Oh, yeah, the pizza tasted okay. I wouldn't get it again. Most of their pizzas had mushrooms for one thing. I dont' eat those. I got the most "normal" pizza that they offered and it was salami with some sort of chili peppers.
I hate to say this but I'd actually prefer Pizza Hut or Dominos or Papa Johns. You get WAY more for your money (particularly on a Tuesday) and it just tastes better.
This just wasn't good. What kind of pizzaria doesn't offer different sized pizzas? They're just trying way too hard to be upscale. Yeah. Just saw some photos of the place and it looks like a proper sit down restaurant with romantic candles and everything.
So this is not what I want. Somebody should really open a good, authentic American pizzaria. Think of the profits. The only authentic American pizzaria in Glasgow. It would be huge.
